For Whom is Invisalign Suitable and How is it Performed?
The first step is to analyze the misaligned teeth. In a second step, an individual treatment plan is being created, including an interactive 3D simulation of the jaw, in order to visualize the desired result after the treatment.
Based on an intraoral scan of the jaw and photos of the initial situation, the individual dental splints, aligners, are being manufactured using a 3D printing process. These splints must be worn 20-24 hours a day and can be removed for eating and dental care.
Regularly controlls are carried in which the process is being checked and which intend the change of the Aligner. At the beginning, changing a dental splint can cause a feeling of pressure because the teeth have to adapt to the new splint. The change moves the teeth into the desired position and thus achieves the goal of straightening the teeth
